Hola! Our names are Rick and Less and we are the owners of the amazing 2xJuan Mobile App. 

Welcome!

2xJuan consists of a team of Los Cabo’s locals that have personally enjoyed years of fabulous foods and services in the Baja region. We are deeply involved with the local entertainment industry and enjoy the Cabo life to the maximum. We feel so fortunate to be able to live in such paradise and can’t wait to share it with you! 

We have figured out a way to offer tourist unique experiences with local businesses at affordable prices through this easy to use mobile app. 

We designed our business model to offer 2x1 or 50% discounts at our participating businesses with no limits to how many times it can be used. We also created categories within each city along with filters, descriptions, ratings and maps so that you can easily find businesses that cater to your specific needs. 

We are able to keep the membership at an affordable price by making it only a week long, just the right time you need for your Cabo getaway vacation. No need to be locked in a long term membership, we make it simple and affordable for you! With your first use of the app you get back the money you paid for the 7 day membership or maybe even more; after that, it’s nothing but gains! This gives our customers the opportunity to enjoy multiple venues (restaurants, activities and other services) with large savings while on vacation. There are no gimmicks behind the discounts, you get what you’re offered.

Forget about having to drive back to your hotel because you forgot your plastic card membership, with the 2xJuan app all you need is your phone!

The name 2xJuan came from a play in words as sometimes with the Mexican accent it comes across being heard as Juan instead of “one”. We thought it would be a funny and catchy name that would capture the tourists attention and it would also make it easier for us to play around with the idea of creating a funny character, which was essential for the app’s Mexican theme.

As locals we have many friends coming to Los Cabos for vacations on a regular basis. Eventually, we found ourselves guiding them by recommending places that we enjoyed and found to be worthwhile. Also, with so many new businesses popping up all over Los Cabos we found that it can be overwhelming to decide where to go for food, services or activities. It is hard, even for us! 

We realized there was a need to help tourists choose between all of the options and we decided to make it even more appealing by offering them the opportunity to also enjoy big discounts. We want to make your vacation time even more pleasant.

As 2xJuan grows we will be adding new businesses on a monthly basis. You are invited to be notified by subscribing to our monthly newsletter, we promise not to share your email address nor bombard you with multiple emails because we don’t like that either. 

Our goal is to expand to other parts of Mexico by offering the same discounts in Mexico’s most sought after tourist destinations. Don’t be surprised if you find us all over the place on your next trip to Cancún!

Our customers indirectly participate in giving back to the local community that makes your luxury vacation possible, as the owners of 2xJuan are also the founders of local charity Heart4Cabo, where they give back by serving the needs of the poor who are all the people working at the resorts. Seeing them in their uniforms you would never imagine the conditions that they live in. 

In Heart4Cabo, building safe block homes is the core of their mission and also providing basic needs like medical, food and clothing.
